Course Description

The training program is designed to provide non-electrical personnel with a clear and practical understanding of fundamental electrical principles, electrical systems, and safe working practices around electrical equipment. Many professionals working in industrial plants, construction sites, oil & gas facilities, and commercial buildings are required to interact with electrical systems without being qualified electricians. This course bridges that knowledge gap by simplifying electrical concepts and focusing on safety awareness, basic troubleshooting understanding, and operational familiarity.

The program explains how electricity is generated, distributed, and used in industrial and commercial environments. It introduces key concepts such as voltage, current, resistance, power, AC/DC systems, electrical circuits, distribution systems, protection devices, and grounding. A strong emphasis is placed on electrical hazards, safe isolation procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and accident prevention.
