Course Description

The HABC Level 2 International Award in Work at Height is a globally recognized health and safety training program designed to provide workers and supervisors with essential knowledge and practical awareness required to work safely at height. Work at height remains one of the leading causes of serious injuries and fatalities in construction, oil & gas, utilities, maintenance, and industrial environments. This course focuses on identifying hazards, implementing preventive measures, and applying international best practices for fall protection and safe access systems.

Participants will gain a clear understanding of legal responsibilities, risk assessment procedures, selection and inspection of fall protection equipment, and safe working practices when operating at elevated positions such as scaffolds, ladders, roofs, platforms, or confined elevated structures. The program integrates HSE principles, hazard identification, and real-world case studies to help learners understand the consequences of unsafe practices and develop a proactive safety culture.

The training combines theory with practical demonstrations and interactive discussions to ensure participants are able to recognize risks and apply safe work procedures in their workplace.
