Assessment
The PECB certified ISO 22301 Lead Auditor Training Course exam fully meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP). The exam covers the following competence domains:
Domain 1: Fundamental principles and concepts in Business Continuity
Main Objective: To ensure that the ISO 22301 Lead Auditor candidate can understand, interpret and illustrate the main Business Continuity concepts related to a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS)
Domain 2: Business Continuity Management System (BCMS)
Main Objective: To ensure that the ISO 22301 Lead Auditor candidate can understand, interpret and illustrate the main concepts and components of a Business Continuity Management System based on ISO 22301
Domain 3: Fundamental Audit Concepts and Principles
Main Objective: To ensure that the ISO 22301 Lead Auditor candidate can understand, interpret and apply the main concepts and principles related to a BCMS audit in the context of ISO 22301

Certification
Learners who pass the examination and continuous assessment will receive a certificate of achievement that satisfies the formal training requirement for certification as a auditor or lead auditor. The certificate of achievement is valid for a period of five years from the date of the last day of the course for the purpose of certifying as an auditor.
Learners who do not pass the continuous assessment but have been in attendance for the full duration of the course will receive a certificate of attendance. Learners who fail the examination but pass the continuous assessment will receive a certificate of attendance and be allowed to re-sit the examination within 12 months of the end date of the original course.
