Course Description

The LEEA Foundation Course is an introductory program designed for personnel working in the lifting industry, providing the essential knowledge and understanding of lifting operations, equipment, and safety. This course is ideal for new entrants to lifting, rigging, and lifting equipment operations, as well as supervisors, coordinators, and site personnel seeking formal recognition of their competence. Participants learn the fundamentals of lifting equipment types, safe lifting practices, inspection principles, terminology, and applicable industry standards. Delivered in line with the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) syllabus, the course combines theoretical learning, practical exercises, and case studies to ensure participants can support safe lifting operations in accordance with global best practices.
